Richemont Transportation Coordinator

- Manage day‑to‑day inbound and outbound transportation operations across North America, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to service level agreements.
- Select, negotiate and manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders and third‑party logistics providers to optimize cost and service.
- Coordinate shipment planning, routing and consolidation; schedule pick‑ups and manage carrier capacity for peak and promotional periods.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, commercial invoices, bills of lading and customs paperwork to ensure regulatory compliance (import/export).
- Track shipments proactively, resolve exceptions, and manage claims and freight audit processes to minimize financial exposure.
- Collaborate with warehousing, inventory planning, procurement and retail teams to align transportation flows with inventory and sales plans.
- Maintain and report on transportation KPIs (cost per shipment, on‑time delivery, claims rate) and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum 3 years’ hands‑on experience in transportation, freight forwarding or logistics coordination, ideally within retail or luxury goods.
- Solid knowledge of Incoterms and international customs documentation and clearance procedures.
- Proven ability to negotiate with carriers and manage third‑party logistics partners.
- Strong analytical aptitude with demonstrated experience in cost control and KPI reporting.
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to coordinate cross‑functional, international stakeholders.

Approximately 3+ years of progressive experience in transportation or logistics coordination, with a track record of managing carriers, freight forwarders and cross‑border shipments. Prior exposure to retail or luxury supply chains is strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
