Richemont Regional Head, High‑End Merchandising & Operations

- Define and deploy the regional merchandising strategy for high‑end maisons, aligning assortment, pricing and allocation with brand positioning and commercial objectives.
- Own P&L accountability for merchandising and store operations within the region; translate financial targets into actionable merchandising plans.
- Oversee inventory planning, replenishment and stock flow to optimise sell‑through, turnover and working capital across channels.
- Lead seasonal assortment planning, range architecture and product segmentation in close partnership with buying, design and wholesale teams.
- Drive omni‑channel integration between boutiques, e‑commerce and wholesale to ensure a consistent client experience and inventory visibility.
- Set and monitor KPI frameworks for store productivity, margin, sell‑through and clienteling; implement corrective actions to improve performance.
- Manage and develop a multi‑disciplinary regional team of merchandising, allocation and operations professionals; recruit, coach and retain talent.
- Ensure rigorous brand and retail standards across flagships and boutiques, including visual merchandising, service protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with Marketing, CRM and Events to maximise launch impact, VIP engagement and conversion for high‑value clients.
- Negotiate commercial terms and operational SLAs with distributors, franchise partners and third‑party service providers where applicable.
- Proven senior leadership experience in luxury merchandising and retail operations, ideally within watches, jewellery, leather goods or haute couture.
- Demonstrable commercial acumen with direct P&L responsibility and a track record of achieving sales, margin and inventory targets.
- Strong regional experience in Asia‑Pacific, with deep understanding of market heterogeneity, consumer behaviours and retail ecosystems.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills; experienced in cross‑functional collaboration with buying, product, marketing and wholesale.
- Capacity to lead change initiatives and scale operational processes across multiple markets while maintaining brand standards.

Typically 10+ years in luxury retail or brand merchandising with a minimum of 5 years in senior/regional leadership roles; experience across APAC markets and with high‑value product categories (watches, jewellery, leather) is strongly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion, Retail Management or a related discipline; MBA or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.
