Richemont R&I Intern — VLA Models for Industrial Robotics

- Develop, implement and validate VLA models applied to industrial robotic systems, including simulation and numerical analysis.
- Preprocess and analyse sensor and kinematic data to support model training, calibration and performance assessment.
- Integrate models into simulation environments and collaborate with control engineers to test behavior on virtual robotic platforms.
- Design and execute experiments in simulation (and where applicable on hardware) to benchmark model fidelity and robustness.
- Document methods, results and code; prepare technical reports and present findings to cross-functional R&I teams.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, controls, software) to translate research outcomes into actionable engineering improvements.
- Currently enrolled in a MSc or engineering degree (Robotics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Controls or equivalent) or recently graduated and eligible for an internship.
- Strong foundations in dynamics, control theory and numerical methods as applied to robotics.
- Solid programming ability and experience implementing algorithms for simulation, data processing and model evaluation.
- Demonstrated capacity for rigorous experimental design, critical analysis and clear technical communication.
- Autonomy, initiative and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Practical academic or internship experience with robotic simulation, kinematic/dynamic modelling or machine learning for control. Prior project work involving sensor data processing, algorithm implementation and end-to-end validation in simulated or hardware environments is expected.
Enrolment in or recent completion of a Master's-level engineering or scientific program (Robotics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Controls or equivalent).
