Richemont Metrologist

- Execute dimensional and functional inspections of components and finished assemblies using laboratory metrology equipment and measurement procedures.
- Operate and program coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and optical measurement systems to validate part conformity against engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform instrument calibration, routine verification and preventive maintenance of gauges and measurement systems; maintain traceability of standards and records.
- Generate clear, technical measurement reports and non-conformance records; provide data for statistical process control and engineering problem-solving.
- Collaborate with production, R&D and quality engineering to support first article inspections, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of inspection methods, measurement plans and quality documentation; train operators on measurement best practices.
- Vocational diploma, technician certificate or degree in mechanical engineering, precision mechanics, industrial metrology or equivalent.
- Practical knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Demonstrable experience with CMM operation/programming, optical comparators or other precision measurement systems.
- Strong numerical aptitude, meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to document findings clearly.
- Good communication skills and the capacity to work cross-functionally with production and engineering teams.

At least 3 years of hands-on metrology experience in precision manufacturing, ideally within watchmaking, micro-mechanics or high-precision components.
Vocational diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, precision mechanics, industrial metrology or an equivalent technical qualification.
