- Execute precision manufacture, repair and finishing of high‑end jewellery to maison quality standards, including soldering, polishing and final assembly.
- Set and secure gems using appropriate techniques (pave, prong, bezel, channel), ensuring even alignments and consistent tension.
- Produce bespoke and made‑to‑order pieces from technical drawings or prototypes and collaborate closely with design and production teams to refine fit and finish.
- Perform quality control inspections at each stage, document work, and rectify any defects to guarantee conformity with luxury standards.
- Maintain and calibrate bench tools and equipment; manage consumables and small parts inventory for the bench.
- Advise on technical feasibility and time estimates for bespoke commissions and alterations; escalate complex issues to senior craftsmen when required.
- Vocational qualification or apprenticeship in jewellery manufacture, goldsmithing or equivalent technical training.
- Formal training or certification in gemmology or stone grading preferred (e.g., recognised gemmology diploma).
- Demonstrable portfolio of work in fine jewellery, showing proficiency in stone setting and metal finishing.
- Excellent manual dexterity, meticulous attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetic judgement.
- Familiarity with luxury quality standards, precious metals and gemstone handling protocols.

Diploma or apprenticeship in jewellery making, goldsmithing or equivalent technical qualification; gemmology certification preferred.
