Richemont General Ledger and Tax Accountant

- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local GAAPs and IFRS.
- Reconcile balance sheet and subsidiary ledger accounts, resolving outstanding items.
- Classify and record business transactions, focusing on taxes and provisions.
- Prepare tax returns and filings, reconcile tax accounts, and review tax assessments.
- Manage recurring reports and payments to tax authorities.
- Address special tax issues related to income and sales tax.
- Support tax audits of all kinds.
- Serve as a sparring partner for the finance department on valuation, accounting, and tax matters.
- Act as a point of contact for auditors, tax consultants, and authorities.
- Provide ad-hoc support on general ledger and accounts receivable topics.
- Support the monitoring of controls within the group-wide internal control system.
- Participate in the implementation of new projects.
- Completed commercial training with a focus on accounting, tax clerk, certified accountant, or equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in financial accounting and/or tax office, ideally in an international environment.
- Current and practical knowledge of tax and accounting (HGB and IFRS).
- Proficiency with common accounting systems, preferably SAP R/3 FI, and MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Independent, reliable, and deadline-oriented work style.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Understanding of complex relationships and excellent process comprehension.
- Team-oriented with a strong service and customer focus.
- Affinity for technical process development, automation, and digitalization.
- Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in financial accounting and/or tax office, ideally within an international context.
Completed commercial training with a focus on accounting, tax clerk, certified accountant, or equivalent qualification.
