Richemont Financial Accountant

1. Prepare and post month-end journal entries and ensure timely completion of the month-end close process in accordance with group timelines.
2. Compile statutory and management financial statements, variance analysis and commentary for local management and Group consolidation.
3. Maintain the general ledger, perform account reconciliations and manage intercompany reconciliations and settlements.
4. Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation schedules and periodic reviews of asset registers.
5. Support external and internal audits by preparing schedules, responding to audit queries and implementing control enhancements.
6. Ensure compliance with IFRS, local tax and VAT reporting requirements; prepare supporting documentation for tax and statutory filings.
7. Collaborate with commercial, inventory and treasury teams to reconcile transactional flows and resolve balance-sheet discrepancies.
8. Contribute to process improvement, automation initiatives and the implementation of Group accounting policies and controls.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
2. Professional accounting qualification preferred (CA(SA), ACCA or equivalent) or working towards certification.
3. Strong knowledge of IFRS and local statutory reporting requirements.

Typically 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience within a corporate finance environment; experience in luxury retail, wholesale or consumer goods accounting and exposure to multinational group reporting is highly desirable.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related field; professional accounting certification (CA(SA), ACCA or equivalent) preferred.
