Richemont Export Specialist

1. Prepare and validate export documentation for shipments of high-value luxury goods, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading and certificates of origin.
2. Ensure full compliance with U.S. export controls, customs regulations and trade sanctions (including correct HTS/HS classification and accurate ECCN/commodity classifications where applicable).
3. File export declarations (AES/EEI) and maintain accurate export records to support audits and regulatory enquiries.
4. Coordinate freight bookings, insurance, customs brokerage and courier services with internal stakeholders and third-party logistics providers to meet delivery schedules and mitigate transit risk.
5. Liaise with sales, inventory, warehouse and finance teams to reconcile shipment details, resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate invoicing and cost allocation.
6. Manage export-related queries and exceptions, investigating delays, claims and discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
7. Support continuous improvement of export processes, SOPs and compliance controls; contribute to internal training on export procedures.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trade policy developments and recommend actions to maintain regulatory compliance and commercial continuity.

1. Proven knowledge of export regulations and customs procedures in the United States, including AES/EEI filing and HTS classification.
2. Demonstrable ability to prepare and review commercial shipping documentation for high-value goods.
3. Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy under operational deadlines.
4. Excellent communication skills for cross-functional coordination with internal teams, carriers and customs brokers.
5. Authorization to work in the United States.

4. Customs brokerage and freight forwarder coordination
5. Shipment tracking and inventory reconciliation
6. Risk management for high-value goods and claims handling
7. Microsoft Excel (advanced)
8. ERP experience (e.g., SAP) and familiarity with WMS/transport platforms

Minimum of 3 years' experience in export operations, logistics or trade compliance; experience handling high-value or luxury goods preferred and experience working with customs brokers and freight forwarders essential.

Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent professional experience.
