1. Design, develop and maintain automation solutions for enterprise endpoint lifecycle management including provisioning, imaging, patching and configuration.
2. Author and maintain scripts, playbooks and templates to automate Windows and macOS endpoint tasks using industry-standard tools and languages.
3. Integrate endpoint automation with central IT orchestration, CMDB and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, auditable deployments.
4. Collaborate with security, desktop support and infrastructure teams to implement hardened, compliant endpoint configurations and rapid remediation workflows.
5. Monitor automation outcomes, triage failures, produce runbooks and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and change records.
6. Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new automation frameworks, tooling and process optimisations to reduce manual effort and incident volume.

1. Proven proficiency in scripting and automation languages such as PowerShell and Python.
2. Hands-on experience with enterprise endpoint management platforms (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft Intune and/or Jamf Pro).
3. Strong understanding of Windows and macOS administration, Active Directory and Azure AD.
4. Familiarity with configuration management and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet.
5. Demonstrable experience applying security controls and compliance baselines to endpoints.

Mid-level IT engineering experience, typically 3–5 years working in enterprise endpoint or desktop engineering with demonstrable delivery of automation projects and production-grade tooling.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
