Purdey FP&A Analyst

1. Support the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
2. Conduct detailed financial analyses, including trend and variance assessments, to identify business risks and opportunities.
3. Pursue opportunities to streamline FP&A processes and enhance tools for efficiency and accuracy.
4. Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support informed decision-making by senior management.
5. Assist in the preparation of weekly/monthly sales and month-end reports.
6. Facilitate communication with local management, HQ Finance, and the Group to align financial objectives.
7. Track financial targets and KPIs, analyze budget or forecast deviations, and recommend corrective measures.
8. Promote financial discipline and ensure compliance with corporate finance policies.
9. Adapt to evolving needs within Finance and support the finance team’s efficiency.

1. Strong educational background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
2. Professional qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACA, ACCA) is a plus.
3. Previous experience within FP&A or a similar role.
4. Experience in a matrix organization is highly valued; experience in the retail industry is an advantage.

1. Attention to detail and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
2. Experience with financial planning software such as Anaplan is advantageous.
3. Process-driven and systematic approach.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
5. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
6. Collaborative approach with the ability to engage at all levels.

Previous experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) or a similar role, preferably within the retail industry.

Strong educational background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
