Forecasting Specialist

- Develop and maintain accurate forecasts using statistical methods, historical data, and market analysis.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to gather input and ensure forecast accuracy.
- Adjust forecasts based on new information, market trends, and business initiatives.
- Input forecasts into FM system, create Forecast Modification Requests, and conduct analysis in SAP.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and business insights to identify patterns and forecast drivers.
- Prepare and present regular forecast reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and implement improvements to enhance reliability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align forecasts with business goals and operational plans.
- Communicate forecast changes and assumptions to relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in forecasting and demand planning.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct scenario planning to evaluate the impact of different business strategies and market conditions.
- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate forecast uncertainties.
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in forecasting, data analysis, or a related role within supply chain, finance, or business planning.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in forecasting software and statistical tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of SAP and FM system and supply chain management software is a plus.

Minimum 3 years
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
