1. Perform manual and automated cutting of leather and other materials in accordance with production plans.
2. Select and assess the quality of materials prior to cutting, identifying defects and reporting non-conforming parts.
3. Optimize the placement of pieces to minimize waste and enhance production efficiency.
4. Conduct quality control on cut materials to ensure compliance with specified standards.
5. Collaborate with colleagues and department heads to ensure smooth production progress.

1. Previous experience in the cutting department of a footwear or leather goods manufacturer.
2. Proficiency in manual leather cutting with a knife is advantageous.
3. Excellent knowledge of various types of leather and the most suitable cutting techniques for each material.
4. Experience in operating and adjusting automatic cutting machines.
5. Ability to recognize defects and imperfections in materials.
