OTB Group Accountant

1. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.
2. Prepare and review complex journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
3. Ensure integrity of the general ledger in accordance with GAAP.
4. Identify and resolve accounting issues; recommend and implement corrective actions.
5. Prepare and review monthly financial statements and executive reporting packages.
6. Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization.
7. Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
8. Drive process efficiencies and automation within accounting and reporting.
9. Partner with Finance leadership on ERP, POS, and system enhancements.
10. Establish scalable accounting practices to support growth and new store openings.
11. Act as a trusted finance partner to Store Operations, HR, Payroll, and corporate teams.
12. Support budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with Finance leadership.

1. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
2. Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in accounting or finance.
3. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
4. Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite; SAP, Oracle, or similar acceptable.
5. Strong understanding of POS and inventory management systems.
6. Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical judgment.
7. Experience in preparing financial statements according to US GAAP and Italian GAAP.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Problem-solving and decision-making with proactivity and self-direction.
10. Legal authorization to work in the United States.

A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience is required, with a strong foundation in financial statement preparation according to US GAAP and Italian GAAP.

Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in accounting or finance.

Salary Range: $75K-$80K
