OTB Group Accountant

- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.
- Prepare and review complex journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Ensure integrity of the general ledger in accordance with GAAP.
- Identify and resolve accounting issues; recommend and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and executive reporting packages.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
- Drive process efficiencies and automation within accounting and reporting.
- Partner with Finance leadership on ERP, POS, and system enhancements.
- Establish scalable accounting practices to support growth and new store openings.
- Act as a trusted finance partner to Store Operations, HR, Payroll, and corporate teams.
- Support budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with Finance leadership.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in accounting or finance.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite; SAP, Oracle, or similar acceptable.
- Strong understanding of POS and inventory management systems.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical judgment.
- Experience in preparing financial statements according to US GAAP and Italian GAAP.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making with proactivity and self-direction.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.

A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience is required, with a strong foundation in financial statement preparation according to US GAAP and Italian GAAP.
Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in accounting or finance.
Salary Range: $75K-$80K
