- Manage seasonal buying, defining assortments by cluster, market, sales channels, and POS level, ensuring inventory and sales performance balance while considering clientele.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team on allocation and supply chain-related topics.
- Partner with the training team for seasonal and product-related training needs in stores.
- Drive sell-through of new products by implementing quality actions and constant reviews.
- Provide proactive follow-up and communication on new launches to all sales channels' teams.
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising to develop regional-specific guidelines.
- Consolidate market feedback for communication with headquarters and act as a liaison between HQ and local teams.
- Collect market intelligence, including competitors' best sellers or trend surveys.
- Identify specific market opportunities in collaboration with the local team.
- Develop products for specific countries within the South Asia region.
- Assist in defining and reviewing sales budgets by sales channels and categories.
- Coordinate with local teams on category planning, quarterly sales forecasts, and sales plans by store and cluster.
- Enhance SKU efficiencies and manage merchandising reporting.
- Evaluate the productivity of full-price merchandise and develop exit proposals for outlet liquidation.
- Lead and support ongoing and future merchandising projects.
- Degree or higher in Merchandising, Business, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of merchandising experience, preferably in the retail industry.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Independent and proactive work ethic.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power Pivot, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Anaplan.
- Experience with SAP systems is a plus.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in merchandising, with a preference for candidates with a retail background.
Degree or above in Merchandising, Business, or related discipline.
