Montblanc Production Planner Specialist

- Optimize production plan allocation to manufacturers to ensure maximum product availability while considering supply chain constraints.
- Support planning strategies for leather goods, focusing on best-sellers and new products to maintain efficient production flows.
- Analyze supplier workloads and define monthly production order assignments based on demand planning priorities.
- Monitor manufacturers' production plans and performance, including conducting site visits and participating in supply chain meetings to update on production progress.
- Issue orders within the ERP system (SAP) for various production phases, including internal production and pre-series for new launches.
- Create new vendor profiles in the system, ensuring all necessary documentation is gathered for supplier activation and CSR validation.
- Participate in meetings between the Industrial team in Florence and the headquarters in Hamburg to share updates on production progress and new orders.
- Degree in Economics, Management Engineering, or equivalent field.
- Proficient knowledge of leather production phases.
- Strong command of English (B2 level or higher).
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot tables and Macros.
- Methodical and numerical approach to tasks.
- Effective negotiation skills.
2-3 years of experience in the leather goods or footwear industry, specifically in production planning and control roles.
Degree in Economics, Management Engineering, or equivalent.
