- Develop and execute strategic brand plans to enhance brand equity, revenue, and profit.
- Serve as the primary liaison with Maison teams, ensuring alignment on business strategies.
- Build and monitor on-trade target account lists and overall brand distribution.
- Collaborate with sales teams on brand-specific pitches and promotional programs.
- Conduct commercial analytics, including sales reporting and portfolio assessments.
- Establish KPIs to evaluate marketing program effectiveness and ensure ROI.
- Coordinate with planning teams to manage forecasting, stock allocations, and vintage changes.
- Develop a competitive framework by analyzing category performance and identifying opportunities.
- Oversee brand activations and trade activities, including events and tastings.
- Enhance execution in trade accounts in partnership with Commercial Development.
- Conduct brand presentations and training sessions for sales teams and trade partners.
- Act as a brand ambassador within the UK trade, engaging with key stakeholders.
- Manage A&P deployment strategy in collaboration with Maisons, ensuring budget alignment.
- Support optimal allocation, pricing, and channel strategies to maximize profit and growth.
- Mentor and develop the Wines Intern.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and/or marketing within the wines/spirits sector.
- Experience in the UK wine trade with knowledge of sales channels and key players.
- Proven track record in brand development within a commercial context.
- Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in managing agencies and third-party vendors is advantageous.
- Line management experience is beneficial.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, including senior leaders.
- Flexible and growth-oriented mindset for problem-solving.
- Commercial and business development acumen.
- Positive and proactive attitude.
- WSET Wines Level 3 certification is a plus.
