1. Manage aspects of the monthly closing process related to Gross Margin, Variable Selling Costs, and Fixed Selling Costs, including journal entry preparation, system checks, reporting, and variance analysis against forecasts.
2. Lead variance analysis for each brand, identifying and highlighting key risks and opportunities.
3. Contribute to monthly and quarterly management reports with value-added analysis and insightful commentary.
4. Consolidate Gross Margin impacts for comprehensive reporting.
5. Partner with Commercial Planning to report, challenge, and analyze Gross Margin trends, ensuring accurate and insightful commentary during actual reporting phases.
6. Serve as the primary Business Partner for Supply Chain, reviewing logistics costs and the impact of environmental taxes.
7. Collaborate closely with accounting on inventory depreciation reviews.
8. Support monthly overhead activities and forecast planning, acting as a key Business Partner to communicate financial results effectively with diverse stakeholders.
9. Conduct monthly reviews of Balance Sheet positions on key accounts to identify P&L risks and opportunities.
10. Participate in key regional projects focused on creating and automating reports using Power BI.
11. Support the automation and streamlining of reports and processes to drive efficiency.
12. Contribute to Internal Control activities, focusing on creating detailed procedures to document existing processes.

1. Finance literate with a relevant university degree.
2. Study towards a CIMA or equivalent qualification.

1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
2. Minimum 2 years' experience with SAP.
3. Experience with Power BI.
4. Familiarity with Hyperion (Topaz) and Anaplan is a plus.
5. Well-organized with accuracy and attention to detail.
6. Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
7. Strong communication skills.
8. Hard-working and hands-on with trust and integrity.
9. Curious and interested in detailed analysis.
10. Flexible and adaptable.

A minimum of 6 years in a Controlling or Financial Analysis position, preferably within an FMCG or professional services environment.

Relevant university degree in finance or related field.
