Moët Hennessy Sensory Analysis and Vinification Intern

- Conduct a literature review on the annual theme.
- Develop a detailed specification for training sessions and exploratory tastings.
- Facilitate training sessions and assess tasters' performances using descriptive and discriminative methods.
- Propose tools for sessions, including methodology, tasting sheets, sensory references, competitive analysis, and defect libraries.
- Draft session reports with statistical analyses for result processing and communication.
- Update the performance panel dashboard.
- Correlate sensory data with available analytical data through historical database exploration.
- Contribute to the enhancement of the annual training plan.
- Assist in organizing technical and operational tastings and conducting dosage trials.
- Participate in the management of alcoholic and malolactic fermentations during the harvest period.
- Pursuing a Master's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or DNO with a keen interest in the wine and spirits sector.
- Previous experience in organizing sensory analysis sessions, laboratory work, and cellar operations is advantageous.
- Comfortable working both in the field and in statistical sessions or report writing.
- Highly meticulous with a critical mindset, proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in JMP and Fizz (Biosystems) preferred.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with JMP and Fizz software is a plus.
- Attention to detail and critical thinking.
Entry-level position suitable for individuals with some exposure to sensory analysis and laboratory work.
Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Food Science, Engineering, or related field.
