Michael Kors Vice President, Logistics & Distribution — North America
Michael Kors is a global luxury fashion house and part of Capri Holdings. The brand is known for accessible American luxury across apparel, accessories and footwear and operates within a multi‑brand group that emphasizes cross‑brand mobility and centralized functions across the Capri portfolio.
- Define and execute strategic logistics and distribution plans to meet North America performance targets across e‑commerce, retail and wholesale channels.
- Own day‑to‑day operations and governance for North America distribution centers (Whittier, Teterboro, Montreal) and outbound transportation.
- Manage relationships with 3PLs, carriers, brokers, temp agencies and other external suppliers; act as the internal 4PL leader for Capri brands in NA.
- Optimize network design, inventory flow, order fulfillment processes and facility maintenance to improve service and reduce cost.
- Lead peak‑season planning and execution to ensure service integrity and capacity alignment with commercial plans.
- Partner with S&OP/S&OE processes to ensure logistics capacity and resources support the commercial calendar and promotional cadence.
- Set and monitor KPIs and metrics; leverage analytics to identify opportunities and deliver measurable operational improvements.
- Establish staffing models, manage logistics expense budgets with finance, and oversee workforce planning across DCs.
- Collaborate with Loss Prevention, Distribution and cross‑functional Supply Chain leaders to uphold safety, security and compliance within DCs.
- Coach and develop a high‑performing operations organization; foster cross‑functional collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain management, transportation, economics, business administration, project management or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in logistics and operations, with responsibility for distribution center and transportation functions.
- Proven experience in the retail or fashion industry and in managing a multi‑brand logistics organization.
- Demonstrated P&L/budget ownership for logistics and transportation and experience managing global or regional logistics budgets.
- Hands‑on experience with network design, inventory management, and multi‑channel distribution strategies.
- Strong proficiency with data analytics and demonstrated ability to translate metrics into operational decisions and KPI delivery.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or other formal process improvement methodologies and working in a matrixed global environment.

At least 15 years of experience in logistics and operations, with senior leadership responsibility for distribution centers, transportation management and supplier networks—preferably within retail or fashion and within a matrixed, multi‑brand environment.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain management, transportation, economics, business administration, project management or a related discipline.
