Michael Kors Strategic Sourcing Manager — Marketing & Advertising

- Develop and execute multi-year category strategies for the Marketing & Advertising category that align with business objectives and global sourcing priorities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to establish spend baselines and annual savings targets and ensure formal savings validation.
- Lead sourcing events (RFIs, RFPs) and complex supplier negotiations to maximize value and secure favourable commercial terms.
- Apply advanced analytics and procurement technologies to inform data-driven sourcing decisions, cost modeling and TCO analysis.
- Manage supplier selection, onboarding and performance management; resolve supplier-related issues and enforce procurement policy compliance.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with Marketing, Advertising, IT, Finance, Legal, HR and other cross‑functional partners to align sourcing initiatives.
- Continuously scan the market for new suppliers, products and services to enhance category strategies and deliver incremental value.
- Coach and mentor junior sourcing/procurement staff and disseminate best practices across the procurement team.
- 5–8 years of progressive experience in procurement, category management or strategic sourcing with direct experience in social, digital, media, marketing and advertising services.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, finance, business administration or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience running competitive bids (RFIs/RFPs) and managing supplier performance.
- Proven negotiation and influencing skills with a track record of delivering measurable savings.
- Excellent stakeholder and supplier relationship management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and sourcing/procurement platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, spend analytics, CLM).
- Ability to be based in the East Rutherford office with regular travel to the New York City office.
