1. Own and maintain the end-to-end Power BI ecosystem: data ingestion, modelling, report development, deployment and operational monitoring.
2. Administer the Power BI Service environment — manage workspaces, access control, refresh schedules, gateways and governance.
3. Design and implement scalable, high-performance data models using star schema principles and performance optimisation techniques.
4. Develop intuitive, visually compelling dashboards and executive reports tailored to Retail, Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain, E‑commerce and Marketing.
5. Author and optimise complex DAX measures and calculations to ensure consistent KPIs and business logic across reports.
6. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, translate needs into reporting solutions and provide actionable insights.
7. Drive continuous improvement by identifying automation opportunities, improving data quality with Data Engineering/IT and recommending Power BI feature enhancements.

2. 2–3 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining Microsoft Power BI reports and datasets.
3. Proven expertise in data modelling (star schema, relationship design and performance optimisation).
4. Advanced DAX authoring and optimisation skills.
5. Experience administering Power BI Service including workspaces, gateways and role-based security.
6. Solid SQL proficiency and a practical understanding of data warehousing concepts.
7. Experience working with large, multi-source datasets and managing competing priorities with strong stakeholder communication.
8. Desirable: experience in retail, luxury or consumer goods environments; familiarity with GCP or other cloud data platforms.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
