Alexander McQueen Fabric Development Assistant

1. Support the Fabric Development team across all categories.
2. Log deliveries of fabrics for atelier, fitting, and collection.
3. Coordinate delivery of fabrics to atelier.
4. Dye fabrics where color is not available for fitting samples.
5. Manage stock taking of carry-over atelier fabrics to maintain fluid stock levels.
6. Source fabrics for VIP briefs and prepare fabric presentation packs for shipment.
7. Order and track delivery of fabrics for special projects.
8. Log and coordinate fabrics between design and atelier.
9. Duplicate color cards for distribution to Florence, Novara, and London teams.
10. Archive and log fabric collections.
11. Prepare and update rails and boards for fittings and meetings.
12. Prepare weekly fabric development recap for review with Head of Fabric.
13. Raise purchase orders.

1. Previous experience in a similar internship or role within the fashion industry, preferably in a luxury brand environment.
2. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands effectively.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with stakeholders.
4. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and precision in all tasks.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative in problem-solving and process improvement initiatives.
7. Educational background in Textiles or a related field is desirable.
