Marchesi 1824 Procurement Specialist

Marchesi 1824 is the Prada Group's luxury food & beverage imprint that preserves Milanese pastry and culinary traditions within a design-led hospitality environment. 1. Own end-to-end category management and sourcing for packaging, small equipment, small household appliances and ceramics, ensuring product quality and supply continuity.
2. Coordinate development and procurement of seasonal and campaign-specific packaging solutions, including food-contact and commercial materials (bags, boxes, takeaway/delivery items, cups).
3. Collaborate with Operations, Sales and Marketing to forecast demand, plan orders and support store requirements and new product initiatives.
4. Identify, select and develop new suppliers; run tenders and manage commercial negotiations to secure advantageous purchasing terms.
5. Monitor supplier performance (quality, lead times, service levels) and ensure collection and verification of required certifications and regulatory compliance.
6. Perform cost and inventory analysis, monitor cost centers and suppliers, and identify continuous cost‑saving opportunities.
7. Support definition and management of category budgets and contribute to cost-optimization strategies.
8. Ensure accurate specification management and cross-functional alignment during product introductions and special projects.

1. 3–5 years' experience in procurement / purchasing roles.
2. Proven negotiation and supplier-management capabilities.
3. Experience in packaging management preferred.
4. Strong cost-analysis and budget-management skills.
5. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
6. Good command of English.
7. Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and manage multiple stakeholders.
8. Structured problem-solving approach, accuracy and attention to detail, collaborative team orientation.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
