Responsibilities
- Review and publish IFRS management accounts, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet, on a monthly basis.
- Conduct in-depth reviews of monthly financial packages for each EMEA entity, addressing balance sheet reports and collaborating with accountants to resolve issues.
- Compute stock valuation and reconcile gross margins.
- Manage Syrus (SAP BFC) input for month-end and budget processes.
- Instruct accounting teams on journal preparations for each closing.
- Analyze and explain variances between budget and actuals on a monthly basis.
- Provide financial analyses for capital investments, sales, stock, margin, communication, and selling expenses.
- Conduct Profit & Loss reviews and ad hoc analyses with the EMEA management team.
- Assist in preparing initial and revised financial forecasts and report variances under the supervision of the Finance Director.
- Serve as a back-office liaison for the EMEA commercial team alongside the Finance Director.
- Approve and check invoices on the Accounts Payable system for amounts under £5,000.
- Prepare and/or supervise payment batches for EU entities on the bank website.
- Participate in stock takes annually in the UK and Europe and process or supervise stock take adjustments in the Stock Management system.
- Manage accounting teams and finance interns.
- Collaborate with headquarters and stores to ensure internal control policies and procedures are implemented.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the retail business.
- Experience with multiple channels and entity Profit & Loss statements.
- Finance degree.
Skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Good knowledge of PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP BFC reporting system.
- Fluency in English; French is a plus.
- Strong analytical and accounting skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience Requirements
Minimum of 3 years in a similar role within the retail business, with familiarity in the fashion industry preferred.
