1. Validate and analyze sales and margins to drive business growth.
2. Monitor and analyze sales discounts and returns, providing alerts to retail managers to maintain or improve gross margins.
3. Review and validate sales return risks and inventory quality, providing estimates for provisions.
4. Deliver precise and timely financial reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
5. Address ad-hoc requests from local teams and headquarters with agility and accuracy.
6. Contribute to monthly P&L analysis reports for headquarters.
7. Lead reporting for the Restaurant and Chocolate business unit, including strategy meetings, P&L reports, and budget files.
8. Oversee planning processes for sales forecasts, gross margin projections, and inventory levels.
9. Assist in crafting comprehensive P&L statements and presentation materials for management review.
10. Coordinate quarterly stock takes and monitor execution.
11. Supervise retail operation processes to ensure compliance with internal controls.
12. Implement effective internal control measures within assigned areas.
13. Establish relationships with retail managers to provide financial insights for operational agility.
14. Participate in IT system upgrades and relevant projects.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance or Accounting preferred.
2. Bilingual fluency in Japanese and English, both written and spoken.
3. 3 to 5+ years of experience as a financial analyst with multinational companies.
4. Experience in complex environments with multiple legal entities or reporting lines preferred.

2. Proficiency in IT applications like Excel, PowerPoint, SAP BW.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS accounting principles and standards.
4. Skilled in creating corporate-standard business presentations.

7. Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently with attention to detail.

Minimum of 5 years in financial analysis, preferably within multinational companies.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance or Accounting preferred.
