LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics Senior Accountant

- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings, including accruals and depreciations.
- Manage General Ledger accounts, ensuring monthly reconciliations are completed.
- Record Capex invoices and manage depreciation parameters.
- Oversee sales and COGS, including invoice control and recording.
- Handle intercompany invoices and ensure reconciliations are accurate.
- Reconcile monthly payroll and manage accounting records per Group policy.
- Provide backup within the General Ledger team during absences.
- Harmonize files and processes with team members.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects related to accounting systems and procedures.
- Address queries from senior management as required.
- Report Balance Sheet biannually using Syrus.
- Perform cash analysis and forecast reporting periodically.
- Prepare and file VAT, Intrastat, STATBEL, CBS, and other declarations.
- Draft annual accounts and corporate income tax declarations.
- Prepare audit files and assist during audits.
- Support Accounts Payable, advising on VAT treatment of invoices.
- Prepare outgoing payments in line with company policy.
- Regularly analyze and present supplier situations to the Accounting Manager.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 8 years of experience in accounting
- Fluency in Dutch and French, proficiency in English
- Experience with SAP
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Strong organizational and accuracy skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication

Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on General Ledger operations and financial reporting.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
