1. Oversee the inspection of incoming shipments to verify quality and quantity against purchase orders.
2. Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, HAZMAT guidelines, and customs requirements.
3. Coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies or issues.
4. Maintain accurate records of received goods, including documentation for regulatory compliance.
5. Lead and mentor the receiving team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
6. Analyze and report on receiving metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
7. Collaborate with the inventory management team to ensure seamless integration of received goods into the warehouse system.
8. Ensure the safety and security of the receiving area, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
9. Ensure all receipts are properly put away within established service guidelines.
10. Follow all DDC SOPs and assist in the creation of new ones as necessary.
11. Ensure KPIs are reviewed and action plans are developed and implemented.
12. Work closely with the engineering team and Director of Operations on driving productivity improvement plans.
13. Maintain cross-training records of all personnel in all functions.

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a related role in a Distribution Center.
2. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS, preferably with Manhattan Associates).
3. Spanish speaking is a plus.
4. Strong communication skills both oral and written required.
5. Ability to coach and develop management staff and to deal with difficult conversations.
6. Understanding and driving a culture of continuous improvement using metrics and visual management.
7. Significant attention to detail in safety, recording, logging, and inspecting.
8. Demonstrated ability to use a variety of computer software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and internet.

Minimum of 5-7 years in a related role within a Distribution Center environment.

The salary range is $100,000-$110,000, with flexibility for exceptional expertise and performance.
