LVMH Director of Regulatory Affairs

- Lead the operational regulatory affairs team for cosmetics and OTC drugs within the LVMH Beauty scope of brands.
- Serve as the primary contact for governmental agencies in the USA and Canada regarding regulatory matters.
- Operationalize new laws and regulations pertaining to cosmetics and OTC drugs for the USA and Canada.
- Lead scientific discussions at US and Canadian trade associations.
- Identify and action opportunities to drive business through regulatory affairs.
- Monitor competitive market trends and health authority activities to identify opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with the Strategy and Advocacy regulatory team to evaluate operational impacts of regulatory changes.
- Lead and deliver key projects in compliance with new and existing regulations.
- Provide leadership and direction to the team on regulatory impacts and processes.
- Professional experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Legal, or related science.
- Minimum of 10 years in Cosmetic Regulatory Affairs.
- At least 5 years of demonstrated people-management experience.
- Fluent knowledge of USA and Canada cosmetic and drug regulations.
- Fluency or working knowledge of French is advantageous.
- Proven leadership in driving and executing regulatory processes.
- Ability to interpret and apply applicable regulations.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving in complex regulatory environments.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Collaborative and capable of fostering a team environment.
- Proficient in PowerPoint and MS Excel.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Cosmetic Regulatory Affairs, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Professional experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Legal, or related science.
Salary range of $160,000-$200,000, with flexibility based on expertise, performance, and tenure.
