LVMH Assistant Accountant

- Prepare and post journals for payroll, prepayments, and accruals.
- Maintain the Leasa tool and post monthly lease adjustments.
- Assist with intercompany recharges to other LVMH entities.
- Reconcile, analyze, and clear all balance sheet accounts for review by the Financial Accountant.
- Reconcile Direct to Retail (DTR) sales and stock monthly.
- Ensure accurate and timely cash entries and post all direct debits to supplier accounts.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for three bank accounts.
- Confirm cash pooling balances and post interest received and paid.
- Enter cash positions into the LVMH treasury reporting system Syrus and prepare cash flow spreadsheets.
- Liaise with the wider finance team to understand variances and prepare analysis reports.
- Manage the creation and disposal of fixed assets and maintain the work in progress (WIP) account.
- Conduct monthly depreciation runs and track asset movements and status changes.
- Support the annual audit by providing necessary documentation and monitoring audit requests.
- Analyze VAT postings and prepare quarterly UK and Ireland VAT returns.
- Request payment of VAT, tax, and NICs and prepare quarterly corporation tax figures.
- Confirm agreement and reconcile intercompany balances with the Group monthly.
- Generate monthly recharges and arrange payment of intercompany balances.
- Ensure all intercompany entries reconcile and liaise with other BPC brands for accurate month-end accruals.
- Raise all intercompany invoices.
- Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and work effectively in a team.
- Excellent analytical skills and quick thinking.
- Calm under pressure, helpful, and willing to address queries.
- Sense of urgency and promptness in a fast-changing environment.
- Good time management and detail-conscious.
- Good telephone manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
