LVMH Assistant Accountant

1. Prepare and post journals for payroll, prepayments, and accruals.
2. Maintain the Leasa tool and post lease adjustments monthly.
3. Assist with intercompany recharges to other LVMH companies.
4. Reconcile, analyze, and clear all balance sheet accounts for review by the Financial Accountant.
5. Reconcile Direct to Retail (DTR) sales and stock monthly.
6. Ensure accurate and timely cash entries and post all direct debits to supplier accounts.
7. Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for three bank accounts.
8. Confirm cash pooling balance in Diapason and post interest received and paid.
9. Enter cash positions into the LVMH treasury reporting system Syrus and prepare cash flow spreadsheets.
10. Liaise with the wider finance team to understand variances and prepare analysis reports.
11. Manage the creation and disposal of assets and maintain the work in progress (WIP) account monthly.
12. Conduct monthly depreciation runs and track movement and status changes.
13. Support the annual audit by providing necessary documentation and monitoring the audit portal.
14. Analyze VAT postings and prepare quarterly UK and Ireland VAT returns.
15. Request payment of VAT, tax, and NIC, and prepare quarterly corporation tax figures.
16. Confirm agreement and reconcile intercompany balances with the group monthly.
17. Analyze and generate monthly recharges and arrange payment of intercompany balances.
18. Ensure all intercompany entries reconcile and liaise with other BPC brands for accurate month-end accruals.
19. Raise all intercompany invoices.
