LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics Accounting Intern

- Process and record supplier invoices, both with and without purchase order references.
- Manage the shared mailbox, including processing supplier invoices and reconciling supplier statements.
- Follow up on the approval of purchase invoices.
- Oversee the creation and modification of suppliers in the system in line with group procedures.
- Forward and archive accounting documents related to the Luxembourg company, managed by an external accountant.
- Record bank statements and manage customer open items, reconciling payments to unpaid invoices.
- Send reminder emails to customers and reconcile cash register reports with payments received by credit cards against boutique sales reports.
- Update follow-up files for projects, databases, group reporting, and audit purposes.
- Assist in preparing audit files, including preparing confirmation letters for clients, suppliers, and banks, and downloading data from SAP.
- Scan and archive documents on the shared network drive.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Understanding of accounting principles and ability to analyze financial information.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English.
- Proactive attitude and a genuine desire to learn about accounting processes and the luxury goods industry.
Beginner level experience in accounting or related fields.
Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
