- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of all shipping and receiving functions affecting store inventory.
- Maintain an orderly and neat stock and receiving area, ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and sensored.
- Accurately process inbound freight, returns-to-vendors, chargebacks, transfers, and damages in accordance with company policies.
- Support compliance with company policies regarding safekeeping of funds and property, security, and record-keeping.
- Ensure stock is appropriately security tagged to prevent loss.
- Communicate with central distribution and corporate inventory control departments.
- Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
- Complete price changes within the boutique.
- Assist in packing or wrapping customer merchandise when necessary.
- Solve problems and make informed suggestions to enhance service and productivity in the receiving area.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Participate in store meetings and training seminars.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in operations or inventory management.
- Proficiency in handling receiving operations, including merchandise handling.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete documentation.
- Proficiency in processing information and merchandise through computer systems.
- Ability to adjust priorities and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Competence in operating necessary equipment, including phone systems, inventory-control computer systems, and sensor-tag removers.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in operations or inventory management.
Salary range of $21-$24 per hour, plus bonus eligibility.
