LVMH Leatherworking Apprentice
LVMH, a global leader in luxury goods, encompasses a diverse range of prestigious brands in fashion, leather goods, wines & spirits, perfumes & cosmetics, watches & jewelry, and selective retailing. The Institut des Métiers d'Excellence (IME) LVMH, established in 2014, is dedicated to preserving and transmitting the group's artisanal, creative, and sales expertise through specialized training programs.
- Engage in a one-year alternating training program in leatherworking, starting July 2026, within Louis Vuitton's leather goods workshops across various French departments.
- Receive both theoretical and practical instruction at Les Compagnons du Devoir in Pantin, complemented by Italian language lessons and hands-on experience in Louis Vuitton workshops.
- Participate in Master Classes organized by the Institut des Métiers d'Excellence LVMH, featuring lectures on luxury fundamentals, historical insights into the Maisons, and interaction with industry experts and creators.
- Attain the CAP Maroquinerie, a diploma from the French Ministry of Education, and the Brevet d’Excellence from the Institut ME.
- Enhance employability in the leather goods sector by developing skills in working with leather and other soft materials.
- Candidates under 25 must have at least a Baccalauréat.
- Candidates 25 and older must hold at least a CAP, BEP, or equivalent Level IV diploma registered with the RNCP, and be registered as a job seeker or have received certain social benefits.
- Strong visual acuity, including color distinction and close vision.
- Manual dexterity, precision, and meticulousness.
- Patience, curiosity, and openness to learning.
- Logical and methodical approach with strong concentration abilities.
No prior experience required; suitable for beginners.
Minimum Baccalauréat for candidates under 25 or CAP/BEP for those 25 and older.
Participants will receive a comprehensive education in leatherworking, including theoretical and practical training, language instruction, and exposure to luxury industry professionals.
