- Develop and implement an annual merchandising plan for department store counters and chain stores, aligning with marketing strategies and headquarters guidelines.
- Plan and manage budgets and forecasts for Point of Sale Materials (POSM) in collaboration with the Product Manager.
- Oversee local production of POSM based on launch guidelines.
- Prepare planograms for each counter and provide guidance to counter Beauty Consultants.
- Adapt visuals for each counter in accordance with the marketing plan.
- Manage central and local POSM inventory.
- Collaborate with the sales team to effectively communicate with retail partners for opening, renewing, and maintaining Points of Sale (POS).
- Coordinate with internal teams, regional and HQ merchandising teams, retailers, and local contractors for final drawing confirmations.
- Work with the purchasing team to manage project costs within budget constraints (CAPEX).
- Ensure local contractors apply HQ drawings and POSM guidelines to new POS.
- Promptly manage maintenance of each counter with local contractors.
- Prepare and produce show window and lounge displays for major launch events in department stores.
- Create and manage setups for on-counter shows, outposts, and pop-up events based on sales plans.
- Collaborate with local vendors and the regional Visual Merchandising team to design pop-up stores according to the scale of the event.
- University graduate degree
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Visual Merchandising Design (VMD) within the cosmetics or consumer industry
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and VMD-related software
- Clear communication skills in both Korean and English
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Agility to handle projects with short notice and flexibility in making edits
A minimum of 3 years of experience in visual merchandising design, particularly within the cosmetics or consumer industry, is required.
University graduate degree
