- Manage all operations related to the import and export of goods, including planning, organizing, and optimizing national and international transportation from the distribution center.
- Establish shipping documents and resolve any transportation or customs-related issues.
- Coordinate international transportation with purchasing, supply services, freight forwarders, and suppliers to prevent stock shortages.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, including monitoring customs clearance, controlling import and export declarations, and determining tariff classifications.
- Prepare monthly intra-community declarations and update customs documents.
- Analyze and resolve customer claims, ensuring the accuracy of contentious files with insurers.
- Manage merchandise returns from customer requests to the physical return of products.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Dynamic, rigorous, and organized approach
- Ability to take initiative
- Proficiency in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SAP
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and import-export procedures
- Familiarity with ADR, IMDG, IATA regulations
- Mastery of Incoterms
A minimum of 3 years of experience in transport and customs management is required.
