LVMH Senior Financial Controller - Travel Retail

1. Provide in-depth financial analysis on Travel Retail performance, identifying improvement levers and formulating strategic recommendations to optimize growth and profitability.
2. Collaborate closely with commercial teams to evaluate the profitability of initiatives, investments, and partnerships, advising on decision-making processes.
3. Define and implement relevant KPIs for Travel Retail, ensuring regular monitoring and alerting on significant deviations.
4. Propose and implement continuous improvements in reporting, budgeting, and financial forecasting processes specific to Travel Retail.
5. Develop and oversee the construction of annual budgets and medium-term plans for Travel Retail, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
6. Implement and manage rolling forecasts, analyzing variances and adjusting predictions based on market evolution and performance.
7. Ensure rigorous management of the Travel Retail P&L, identifying risks and opportunities and proposing corrective actions.
8. Supervise and validate monthly closures, ensuring the reliability of financial data and producing clear performance reports for top management.
9. Control expenses and monitor provisions, challenging operational teams on cost justification and optimization.
10. Manage budgetary tracking of Capex and retailer stocks, liaising with logistics and commercial teams.
11. Train and support Travel Retail teams on financial tools and management best practices, enhancing their financial culture.
12. Stay informed on Travel Retail market developments and best practices in financial control to propose innovative approaches.
13. Manage a junior profile and an intern within the team.

1. Advanced degree (Bac +5) in finance, audit, or management control from a business school or university.
2. Minimum of 5 years of solid experience in management control, ideally in a dynamic commercial environment, with Travel Retail or luxury products being a significant advantage.
3. Experience as a business partner is essential.

1. Excellent mastery of financial analysis techniques, budget modeling, and reporting.
2. Advanced proficiency in Excel and office tools.
3. Deep knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system.
4. Fluency in English is essential.
5. Strong business orientation with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
6. Ability to interact and influence various stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and defend recommendations.
7. Excellent analytical and synthesis skills to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
8. Proactive and autonomous with the ability to anticipate needs, propose solutions, and work independently in a demanding and constantly evolving environment.
9. High level of rigor and attention to detail.

Minimum of 5 years in management control, with a preference for experience in Travel Retail or luxury products.

Advanced degree in finance, audit, or management control.
