LVMH Color Technician

1. Develop and validate color formulations for makeup products.
2. Select and acquire raw materials, ensuring compliance with application-specific regulations.
3. Conduct colorimetric formulation trials in the laboratory in alignment with LVMH R&D guidelines.
4. Submit formulation trials for marketing validation and adjust formulas based on feedback.
5. Establish precise production formulas, optimizing cost and performance.
6. Monitor the stability of approved formulas through testing and analysis.
7. Transmit bulk nomenclatures to R&D via Optiva and provide physical reference samples.
8. Produce marketing samples in the laboratory for presentations and evaluations.
9. Provide validated color samples to the packaging development team for compatibility and aesthetics.
10. Participate in the validation of colors during pilot and initial bulk productions, both internally and externally.
11. Validate and correct subcontracted bulk formulas, ensuring quality standards are met.
12. Conduct stability tests on subcontracted formulas, adapting protocols as needed, and manage derogation requests.
13. Prepare and send products and packs required for various development stages, ensuring traceability and security.

1. Higher education degree (Bac +2/ +3) from institutions like ITECH, ISIPCA, or equivalent, specializing in colorimetry, cosmetic formulation, or chemistry.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the makeup sector.
3. Excellent knowledge of cosmetic quality and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

1. Mastery of colorimetry and formulation techniques.
2. Optical quality and analysis of texture and organoleptic properties.
3. Proficiency in SAP and Excel software.
4. Creativity and ability to integrate technical constraints.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills and team collaboration ability.
6. Attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.

A minimum of 3 years in a similar position, ideally within the makeup industry.

Higher education degree (Bac +2/ +3) in colorimetry, cosmetic formulation, or chemistry.
