- Develop and validate color formulations for makeup products.
- Select and acquire raw materials, ensuring compliance with application-specific regulations.
- Conduct colorimetric formulation trials in the laboratory in alignment with LVMH R&D guidelines.
- Submit formulation trials for marketing validation and adjust formulas based on feedback.
- Establish precise production formulas, optimizing cost and performance.
- Monitor the stability of approved formulas through testing and analysis.
- Transmit bulk nomenclatures to R&D via Optiva and provide physical reference samples.
- Produce marketing samples in the laboratory for presentations and evaluations.
- Provide validated color samples to the packaging development team for compatibility and aesthetics.
- Participate in the validation of colors during pilot and initial bulk productions, both internally and externally.
- Validate and correct subcontracted bulk formulas, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Conduct stability tests on subcontracted formulas, adapting protocols as needed, and manage derogation requests.
- Prepare and send products and packs required for various development stages, ensuring traceability and security.
- Higher education degree (Bac +2/ +3) from institutions like ITECH, ISIPCA, or equivalent, specializing in colorimetry, cosmetic formulation, or chemistry.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the makeup sector.
- Excellent knowledge of cosmetic quality and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Mastery of colorimetry and formulation techniques.
- Optical quality and analysis of texture and organoleptic properties.
- Proficiency in SAP and Excel software.
- Creativity and ability to integrate technical constraints.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team collaboration ability.
- Attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
A minimum of 3 years in a similar position, ideally within the makeup industry.
Higher education degree (Bac +2/ +3) in colorimetry, cosmetic formulation, or chemistry.
