- Develop and validate color formulations for makeup products.
- Manage raw materials selection and acquisition, ensuring compliance with specific application regulations.
- Conduct colorimetric formulation trials in the laboratory in alignment with LVMH R&D guidelines.
- Submit formulation trials for marketing validation, incorporate feedback, and adjust formulas accordingly.
- Define precise production formulas, optimizing cost and performance.
- Monitor stability of approved formulas, conduct tests, and analyze results.
- Transmit bulk nomenclatures to R&D via Optiva, providing physical reference samples.
- Provide regular reporting to project coordinators and relevant departments on color development progress.
- Produce laboratory samples for marketing presentations and evaluations.
- Supply validated color samples to packaging development to ensure compatibility and aesthetics.
- Participate in the validation of colors during pilot bulk production and initial manufacturing, both internally and externally.
- Validate and correct subcontracted bulk formulas, ensuring quality standards compliance.
- Conduct stability tests for subcontracted formulas, adapt protocols, and manage derogation requests if necessary.
- Prepare and dispatch products and packs required for various development stages, ensuring traceability and security.
- Higher education degree (Bac +2/ +3) from institutions like ITECH, ISIPCA, or equivalent, specializing in colorimetry, cosmetic formulation, or chemistry.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the makeup sector.
- Expertise in cosmetic quality and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Proficiency in colorimetry and formulation techniques.
- Optical quality and analysis of texture and organoleptic properties of products.
- Knowledge of SAP and Excel software.
- Creativity and ability to integrate technical constraints.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team collaboration.
- Meticulousness, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
A minimum of 3 years in a similar position, ideally within the makeup industry.
Higher education degree (Bac +2/ +3) in colorimetry, cosmetic formulation, or chemistry.
