LVMH Assistant Compensation Manager

- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll for office employees and retail Beauty Consultants across multiple brands, ensuring 100% accuracy, timeliness and compliance with Chinese labor, tax and social insurance regulations.
- Consolidate and distribute payroll reports to Finance, HR and external vendors; lead internal and external payroll audits and maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Administer HRIS payroll and Employee Self-Service (ESS) modules as super-user; own master data integrity and the integration between HRIS and corporate Finance systems.
- Act as primary liaison with payroll and benefits vendors (e.g., CIIC), overseeing social insurance, housing fund and IIT filings and validating vendor invoices for accuracy and cost efficiency.
- Support compensation strategy through annual salary surveys and market benchmarking for office and retail roles; analyse market data and advise on pay positioning.
- Continuously evaluate and streamline payroll and compensation processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort and scale operations (including system digitalization projects).
- Collaborate with HR Controller and Finance to improve R1/R2 forecasting and annual total rewards budgeting; support leave management, bonus calculations and ad hoc compensation projects.
- Supervise, mentor and coordinate payroll coordinators/executors to ensure consistent service delivery across employee groups.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in payroll, compensation or total rewards, preferably within retail, luxury, beauty or FMCG sectors.
- Proven experience managing payroll for mixed workforces (office and frontline/retail), including commissions, bonuses and statutory benefits.
- Strong knowledge of China employment law, individual income tax (IIT) and mandatory social benefits (pension, medical, unemployment, housing fund, work injury).
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
- Experience supervising or mentoring payroll team members and working with external payroll vendors.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
