LVMH Accounts Payable Accountant

- Perform invoice verification through 3-way matching and ensure accurate posting of expenses, including general, marketing, travel, and entertainment expenses.
- Maintain and update vendor registration records.
- Prepare vendor account reconciliations and execute payment proposals within established deadlines.
- Post journal entries and support the preparation of financial statements, including prepaid expenses and cost reclassification.
- Assist in the preparation of audit and tax return working files, handling both internal and external audit matters.
- File corporate tax, consumption tax returns, and other tax reports, and assist with tax audits as necessary.
- Support the finance department in purchase order creation and other ad hoc tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting within a corporate setting.
- Basic accounting knowledge with a focus on 3-way matching.
- Intermediate proficiency in computer skills and MS Office.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Experience with SAP is advantageous.
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English.
A minimum of 3 years in finance or accounting roles within a corporate environment is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
