Louis Vuitton Textile Development Engineer

- Formalize industrial textile specifications for suppliers and assist in supplier selection.
- Industrialize textiles for Leather Goods collections, validating materials and manufacturing processes.
- Approve textiles through laboratory testing and process validation.
- Ensure compatibility of textiles with finished product manufacturing processes.
- Propose optimizations throughout the industrialization process to enhance textile constructions while respecting creative intent.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and foundational projects related to textiles, focusing on new manufacturing processes, sustainability, product performance, and cost optimization.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in textile development and industrialization.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in French and English; Italian is a plus.
- Rigorous, organized, and autonomous.
- Ability to understand products, markets, and industrial constraints.
- Teamwork and networking skills with international suppliers.
- Analytical and decision-making capabilities.
At least 5 years in textile development and industrialization roles.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
