1. Oversee the payroll cycle for a multi-location, multi-province organization, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for all employee groups, including hourly, salaried, full-time, part-time, and seasonal team members.
2. Act as the principal liaison with the external payroll provider, ensuring seamless data transmission, robust compliance, and the highest standards of integrity in payroll delivery.
3. Guarantee full compliance with all federal and provincial employment standards, CRA requirements, source deductions, remittances, and specific Quebec payroll requirements.
4. Manage complex pay structures, such as overtime, statutory holiday pay, vacation, commissions, and bonuses.
5. Efficiently manage payroll calendars, execute reconciliations, and meticulously handle year-end activities, including the preparation of T4s, T4As, and RL-1s.
6. Act as the escalation point for complex payroll issues and discrepancies, providing expert guidance and resolutions.
7. Lead the management and administration of group benefits programs, encompassing health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement savings plans, and employee assistance programs.
8. Oversee employee enrollment, terminations, life events, and eligibility changes within the benefits programs.
9. Liaise effectively with benefits providers, brokers, and third-party administrators to ensure seamless service delivery.
10. Lead all Louis Vuitton and LVMH global processes, including annual compensation reviews and reports.
11. Provide comprehensive support for both internal and external audits pertaining to payroll and benefits.
12. Build thought-through compensation packages for all Manager roles and above, leveraging market compensation data and surveys.
13. Lead Pay Equity and Pay Transparency projects across Canada.
14. Foster the growth of the Human Resources Coordinator and inspire cross-functional collaboration with HR, Finance, and Retail teams.

1. Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in payroll and benefits management, preferably within a retail or multi-site environment.
2. Strong experience managing multi-provincial Canadian payroll, including Quebec-specific requirements.
3. A CPM, PCP, or equivalent designation awarded by the National Payroll Institute is preferred.
4. In-depth knowledge of employment standards legislation across Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Quebec, as well as CRA and Revenu Québec requirements.

1. Proven experience with various payroll and HRIS systems, with a preference for ADP.
2. Strong Excel proficiency and exceptional data reconciliation skills.
3. High attention to detail, coupled with the ability to recognize, investigate, and effectively resolve payroll discrepancies.
4. Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills with a logical and solution-oriented approach.

Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in payroll and benefits management, preferably within a retail or multi-site environment.

Annual salary range of $110,000-$140,000 CAD, plus eligibility for the Corporate Bonus program.
