- Design and evolve the architecture of shared backend components, including APIs, sessions, and micro-services.
- Define and enforce development best practices, testability, and security guidelines.
- Provide technical oversight for the Core Platform team, including code reviews and validation of pull requests.
- Define integration contracts, document features, and support their adoption across teams.
- Collaborate closely with Delivery, SRE, DevOps, Security, and Product teams.
- Monitor the reliability, performance, and reuse of platform components.
- 6–10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years as a Tech Lead.
- Strong background in backend architecture, web APIs, distributed systems, and CI/CD.
- Proficiency in cloud-native environments such as AWS and GCP.
- Familiarity with secure development, scalability, and observability standards.
- Fluency in both English and French.
- Clear and structured communication skills with the ability to lead by influence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to mentor and challenge engineers across teams.
- Autonomy, proactivity, and a strong sense of accountability.
- Technical expertise in Node.js and composable backends.
6–10 years in software engineering, including at least 2 years in a Tech Lead role.
