- Draft, analyze, review, and negotiate a wide range of IT contracts, primarily in English, including software licensing, SaaS/PaaS, and outsourcing agreements.
- Collaborate closely with the IT Procurement Team to provide legal input on tender processes and lead contract negotiations.
- Advise on legal matters related to IT, technology, and digital initiatives.
- Provide expertise on IT and digital aspects of various contracts.
- Identify potential risks in IT contracts and advise stakeholders accordingly.
- Support the Head of Legal Tech and Digital in implementing projects and improving contract templates.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with privacy legislation and internal cybersecurity policies.
- Promote efficient working methods through legal transformation processes.
- Conduct training sessions for KTD personnel on IT and digital legal topics.
- Draft legal documents, memoranda, and meeting reports.
- Stay informed on legal developments in the IT and digital sectors.
- Manage and oversee external legal counsel as needed.
- Master's degree in tech law, digital law, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in a similar role or within an international law firm's IT and Tech Department.
- Proficiency in French and English; Italian is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of French contract law and IT/Tech law.
- Understanding of GDPR and data protection laws.
- Familiarity with general commercial law.
- Excellent multitasking and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and enthusiasm for new technologies.
4-5 years in a similar position or within an international law firm's IT and Tech Department.
Master's degree in tech law, digital law, or a related field.
