Kering Legal Counsel

Kering is a global luxury group that houses a collection of world-renowned fashion, leather goods, jewellery and beauty Houses. The Group is recognised for fostering creativity, sustainability and craftsmanship across its portfolio and operates with a matrix of Brand teams supported by central functions such as Legal Shared Services EMEA.

1. Provide pragmatic legal advice and consultancy to operational teams (Operations, Procurement, Facility & General Services and other shared-service functions).
2. Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements in Italian and English, including manufacturing, supply and sub-supply, machinery purchase, procurement and general services contracts.
3. Support the management of disputes and litigation within areas of responsibility, coordinating with external counsel when required.
4. Conduct legal research, analyse issues and prepare clear legal opinions and internal notes.
5. Monitor legal and regulatory developments and translate them into internal updates or guidance.
6. Contribute to training initiatives and roll-out of legal awareness across business teams.
7. Implement and maintain legal processes, contract templates and standard clauses to improve efficiency.
8. Collaborate cross-functionally to align legal strategies with business objectives and operational constraints.

1. Law degree from a recognised university.
2. Significant in-house legal experience with a proven track record in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
3. In-depth knowledge of the Italian legal system and its application to commercial contracts.
4. Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisers.
5. High standards of professional ethics, discretion and integrity.
6. Fluency in Italian and English; working knowledge of French is an advantage.

Several years of in-house legal experience, ideally within a multinational or multi-brand environment, with demonstrable experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and supporting operational teams.

Law degree; admission to practice in Italy (Avvocato) preferred but not explicitly required.
