Kering Head of Finance, R2R

- Lead the Malaysia R2R team in the redesign of KFSSC processes as part of the global finance SSC transformation program, ensuring inclusion of local legal requirements.
- Oversee the regional back-office team to support APAC Shared Service Centers in intercompany transaction processes, focusing on automation and accelerated month/year-end closing.
- Guide the Malaysia R2R team in establishing best practices and extending expertise to other APAC Shared Services.
- Direct the accounting team in executing month-end and year-end closings with strong controllership.
- Facilitate cross-team understanding of new Accounting Standards and train the team in technical principles.
- Streamline processes to enhance quality and speed of month-end, year-end, and statutory reporting, including financial and tax audits.
- Drive cross-team collaboration to align and facilitate end-to-end processes, including P2P, O2C, and SAP technical teams.
- Manage stakeholder expectations in intercompany processing, aiming for global core process alignment.
- Establish and monitor revised Service Level Agreements with Kering brands, detailing scope, KPIs, and target unit costs.
- Support the rollout of Kering Group’s internal controls framework, ensuring control objectives are met across markets.
- Engage in ad-hoc assignments, process improvement initiatives, and Kering Group’s transformation projects.
- Implement continuous accounting and fast-close processes leveraging new technologies.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, including experience with a Big 4 firm.
- Regional experience is advantageous.
- Deep knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
- Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- High-level communication skills for presenting complex data and influencing stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel and SAP ERP for data manipulation.
- Action-oriented and solution-driven mindset.
- Analytical and creative thinking abilities.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
5 to 10 years of relevant experience, including previous Big 4 experience, with regional exposure being a plus.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or CPA qualification.
