1. Establish and communicate harmonization and accountability targets for accounting operations.
2. Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial entries and statements by enforcing common accounting rules.
3. Align systems using the chart of accounts with SAP KOCA and relevant organizational structures.
4. Identify and streamline GL accounts for asset accounting and governance of the Fixed Asset Register.
5. Harmonize IFRS-compliant capitalization and depreciation policies.
6. Lead timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closings in accordance with local GAAP and group guidelines.
7. Prepare COGS and margin closing, with a strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory movement.
8. Maintain and manage fixed asset management procedures.
9. Reconcile intercompany invoices and prepare payments.
10. Manage prepaid expenses and evaluate foreign currency transactions monthly.
11. Prepare VAT and corporate income tax filings and statutory financial statements.
12. Support internal and external audits.
13. Communicate actively with brands to resolve issues effectively.
14. Review and study accounting treatments for new transactions.
15. Participate in ongoing projects and support ad-hoc requests.
16. Cooperate with back-office functions and other teams to promote best practices and eliminate waste.
17. Contribute to the progress of Korea Finance SSC towards ISO certification on quality and controls.
18. Implement continuous accounting and fast-close processes leveraging new technologies.

1. Over 5-6 years of experience in accounting and financial operations.
2. Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
3. Native Korean speaker with fluent English skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
