General Ledger Accountant

1. Establish, formalize, and communicate harmonization and accountability targets for accounting operations.
2. Support consistency and accuracy of financial entries and statements by enforcing common accounting rules.
3. Align systems using the chart of accounts with SAP KOCA and relevant organizational structures.
4. Identify, streamline, and define GL accounts for asset accounting and governance.
5. Harmonize IFRS compliant capitalization and depreciation policy.
6. Lead on-time delivery of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closings.
7. Prepare COGS and margin closing with a strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory movement.
8. Maintain and manage fixed asset management procedures.
9. Reconcile intercompany invoices and prepare payments.
10. Manage prepaid expenses and evaluate foreign currency transactions monthly.
11. Prepare VAT and corporate income tax filings.
12. Prepare statutory financial statements and support audits.
13. Communicate with brands to resolve issues and review new accounting transactions.
14. Participate in ongoing projects and support ad-hoc requests.
15. Cooperate with back-office functions and other teams to promote best practices.

1. Over 5-6 years of experience in accounting and financial operations.
2. Korean native speaker with fluent written and verbal English skills.

1. Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Basic understanding of accounting and retail business.
4. Strong analytical and logical skills.
5. Multi-tasking and patience under a demanding environment.
6. Hands-on mentality and proactive attitude.

Over 5-6 years of experience in overall accounting and financial operations.
