1. Define and enforce front-end architecture principles, frameworks, and component libraries.
2. Co-design the front-end strategy in collaboration with architects, product teams, and platform tech leads.
3. Review pull requests and establish best practices in performance, accessibility, and testing.
4. Promote the use of shared UI components and ensure consistent design system usage across brands and products.
5. Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Designers, and Back-End Engineers to develop coherent, testable features.
6. Select and maintain front-end tools, analyze performance, and enhance load time and runtime behavior.
7. Encourage automation of tests (unit, end-to-end, visual regression) and track key performance metrics (LCP, CLS, error rate).

1. 5 years of experience in front-end development, including 1 to 2 years in a lead developer or technical lead role.
2. Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and performance optimization techniques.
3. Experience with scalable architecture and cross-team UI patterns.

1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. Clear, structured communication and leadership by influence.
3. Ability to operate effectively in complex, cross-functional organizations.
4. Proficiency in both English and French.

A minimum of 5 years in front-end development, with at least 1 to 2 years in a leadership capacity.
