- Manage the adoption of SAP, Blackline, and other global finance transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with worldwide and EMEA financial shared services teams to implement global finance transformation initiatives locally.
- Lead efforts towards continuous accounting and fast closing, aiming to reduce monthly closing time by 50%.
- Monitor and communicate the quality of monthly closings, defining corrective actions as needed.
- Organize team roles to enhance process expertise and improve financial reporting efficiency.
- Maintain SAP analytical structures in alignment with the group model for UK entities.
- Support brand management in the UK market with reliable reporting and budgeting insights.
- Manage month-end reporting submissions in HFM, ensuring accuracy and data quality.
- Respond to divisional queries and support daily finance operations.
- Ensure compliant filing of local statutory financial statements and respond to audit requests.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Coach team members and conduct performance reviews.
- Foster strong relationships with brand finance to ensure high service levels from the shared service center.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 10+ years of experience in audit or retail.
- Experience in shared services or complex matrix organizations.
- Proven track record in leading finance process improvements and system implementations.
- Experience with SAP and HFM is essential.
- Strong IT and process-driven mindset.
- Working knowledge of Power BI.
- Understanding of retail lease accounting (IFRS16) and general retail business.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in audit or retail finance, with a strong background in shared services or complex matrix organizations.
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification required.
