Kering Eyewear Credit and Collections Specialist

- Manage and collect past-due amounts for over 1,000 assigned accounts.
- Review and make decisions on releasing orders based on payment history and terms compliance.
- Research and evaluate credit limits for accounts based on payment behavior and credit reports.
- Analyze aging reports to identify trends and issues.
- Conduct proactive collection calls to customers with overdue balances.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of assigned accounts to resolve payment delays.
- Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Provide management with updates on payment trends and cash flow issues.
- Recommend accounts for external collection when necessary.
- Update accounts receivable systems with accurate status on past-due invoices.
- Provide necessary documentation such as invoice copies and proof of delivery upon request.
- Generate and distribute monthly statements in a timely manner.
- Initiate and follow up on claims in CRM to ensure resolution.
- Proven experience in credit, collections, and cash application in a high-volume environment.
- Strong ability to meet or exceed collection goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook; SAP experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage a large portfolio efficiently.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in account management.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and teams.
